This is the promised, yet overdue post. Lol. Countdown was like a week ago, but only able to update now as I just got the pictures. Eh... because of the delay in time, I couldnt remember much about what happen on the day.

I went to meet the rest for the countdown in the end. We headed down to downtown east at around 8pm+. The rest of us walked around Ehub while waiting for Rui. And it happened that Geneviene, Pei Fen (si gui), Suzanne and Hui Hui were there too. So we got together and headed to the D' Marquee as they were having performance and new year countdown party there. Lol. I was there only for Gary Chaw. LOL!
Getting in was a hassle. Really! They had policemen stationed there and also doing screening. Water bottles and umbrellas were confiscated from those who wanted to enter into the premise. Super dumb right? It's just a party with only some stars (to me, the more famous one is only gary chaw), not with president. =.=" DUMB! As I had both items with me, it really turned me off. I did had the thought of not going in le.
Huiyun, Sj and I hide our water bottles into Wei2's guitar case. LOL!! And someone reminded me to hide my umbrella in another compartment in my bag. LOL!!!!!!! So I did. When I was going pass the 'checkpoint', I opened my bag for them to check. But at the same time, this will cover that compartment's zip. LOL! And guessed what? I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I brought my umbrella in. xD
Wei2 wasnt allowed to be in because of his guitar. =.=" Luckily, Rui's colleague was having chalet. So they left the guitar with them (with our water bottles). We waited for wei2 outside the party ground. Then we saw those policemen throwing away those water bottles in the box. (They had a box to contain those confiscated water bottles AND umbrellas). As it was rather dark, I couldnt see if they threw away those umbrellas not.
DUMB, ISNT IT?!
I did went to look into the contents in those box after the party ended. Some umbrellas, water bottles and other litters were found in there. =.="
Back to the party. There were many people in there and... quite humid arh. People kept squeezing to the front and we followed them. LOL! Soon before I realised, we were really standing very near the stage. And we got to see Gary Chaw, so near to us and it was free!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you were to see him so close-up in the concert, you have to pay for the most expensive tix. Even so, you might not be able to see him so close. LOL. (So envious of Wan Sia la..)
I think it was the climax when Gary came out. LOL. Soon, it was countdown. The fire sparkles were superb loud and scary. =.=" And it was so smoky and choky. After the countdown, it was officially the party time! They got DJ there and people started to dance. LOL!.. Then crowd gathered near us and we went to take a look. We saw a group of balangs dancing. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were even more high then us k!

Wei2 bought those sprays and planned to spray at them. I warned him not to spray me, but in the end he did. =.=" And he said he didnt see me, when I was right infront of him!!!!!!!!!!!
After the spraying, we took bus 3 back to Tampines. It was lucky that we caught the last bus at 1am+. LOl. We went to CC mac and met Jia jun there. Lol. Then we went to the park to slack. I told them before I couldnt ton liao.. because I couldnt stay awake till morning.
Then I went back around 2am+ going to 3am. And it seemed that they stayed till around 5am in the morning. LOL.
P.S. I hate using slide.com la! The picture always 'stick' to my cursor when I tried to do the re-arrangement!!!!! =(
