The novelist actually made use of this as its main storyline. Lol! Cool eh? I do have to agree that reading does help enhancing knowledge in one way or another. Ok. It is called 'Memorial Diamonds', which are made from chemically altered cremation ashes and come with a certificate documenting the production process to ensure the techs don’t try anything funny. ( ref .) They extract the carbon from the hair or ashes and after some processing, you will get the memorial diamonds (which is also known as 'synthetic diamond') . Debris from the collision, a mixture of material from both bodies, spun out into Earth orbit and coalesced into the Moon. Though it was still under the hypothetical stage, but it could be true hur. There could be many ancient planets in the universe and you could have lived on either one of it before (in terms of past lives) .
