Usually I dont have anything against salesperson or those agents (either insurance or wadeva) that you will see them down the street. However there are just some of them who will totally turn me off and I shall let them have a taste of my attitude.
Yup, I am one of those unreasonable 'client' whom I always complained of FACING during work but at least, I do that to only a certain group of people who possessed the same trait; FORCING people to adopt their saving plan or buy their product. Yes, the magic word here is FORCING.
I do understand that they are earning for a living and especially for these people, most of their income come from the commissions and the number of clients they get by the end of the month. Therefore, they will always try their best, speaking all the good things to the clients to convince them. In fact, I encountered some of these people who DO know how to look at the colour of people's face. When they sensed that you are totally uninterested, they will let you off. But majority of those people are just plain annoying or rather, stupid. Even when you made your stand clear to them that you are not interested at all, they will continue persuading you and WASTING YOUR TIME!
I guessed Weifen might be glad that I am around her when the agent asked to meet her. Dumb me, shouldnt have agreed to accompany her and waste my time. Seemed that the praying of not being drag into the whole thing didnt get answered. =.=" Like what weifen said, he was really very naggy, and somehow he took us as idiots whereby he was so afraid that we didnt know that he was making analogy now and then.
As the session got longer, and yes, I got much more impatient and I gave him a taste of my attitude. Tried making things difficult for him during that hour. Hmm, I bet some people might be thinking that I am in the wrong. I admit that, but like hello, right from the start we told him that we have to rush off after 30 mins (mind you, 30MINS! but it dragged till 1HR). We lied to him that we had to meet our friend at another place (you wouldnt want your client to tell you that he/she dont want to listen to all your crapping right?). And guessed what he said? He told us to ask our friend to continue waiting for us with no tone of apologetic.
So... most of his statements were disagreed by me and he was rather surprised by the way I think. There was one point where he started to lose his patience and then he brought up the issue of what if one day death occured to you, what will you leave behind for your parents? LOL!
We were taught to think out of the box during Y1 in RP. So I told him, "nothing. =D At least my death lessen their burden. They should be glad of it. =D" Then, weifen was laughing and nodding, agreeing to my statement. And that left him speechless. There are more to it. Death doesnt work, he mentioned about disability. Actually I understand (I mean I UNDERSTAND, not I KNOW) that both of these are unpredictable. However, I tried to become that mean and stubborn to make the statement that I will ensure all these will not happen to me.
Draining his patience further, he did tried to refer us into the group of unfilial, people who doesnt know how to think far, in a nicer way. LOL!!! But, Who cares! LOL!!!!!!!!!!! He was just wasting my time when I already told him I will do saving by my own, but he still insist us on getting the plan. If that's the case, I shall have my fun.
Till the very end, we could tell that he had lost all his patience. He started telling us his past accident and showed us the big scar on his right elbow. And as he was saying, he was right-handed, but during that time, he couldnt write and it was his major exam period. So he had to repeat for another year, meanwhile he couldnt work. He had to ask money from parents and he said he felt so useless. At this point, I feel that uselessness, because I do feel it even now.
But nono, I'm not going to be soft on him. In fact, I kept my mouth shut after that, not because I had nothing to say, but what I was going to say later, it will definitely be darn hurting. He must be mindless if he think that I was lost for word. LOL!!
After we rushed out of the place, I told weifen that, I was about to comment him but I stopped myself in time. And she said she could tell that. LOL! So what I was going to say about him? LOL!!
"Oh... you broke your right arm, but you still have your left arm right? And obviously, you cant be bed-ridden for one whole year right? Even if you cant carry heavy stuff, but you can do data entry job right? At least you still can type with your left hand!"
I dont see it why he cant type with ONLY his left hand when I saw Aruvin did that in class for days. LOL!
LOL... Weifen was saying that if I said that out, she would escaped much further than us because that guy would be swinging his fist at me. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
